Following the fantastic experience and wonderful feedback from our August group, we are excited to welcome our second group of travellers to Tanzania with Janna!
This specially arranged group program gives you the opportunity to experience some of the highlights of northern Tanzania, including Moshi, Materuni Waterfalls and a traditional Chagga coffee experience, the world-famous Serengeti National Park, Ngorongoro Crater, a Maasai cultural experience and the beautiful beaches of Zanzibar.
The adventure ends with several relaxing days on Zanzibar, where you can enjoy the beach or take part in a variety of optional activities.

DAY 1 – Monday, 1st February | Cultural Orientation & Moshi Town Tour

Cultural Orientation, Moshi Town Tour & Shopping
The program officially begins with a house and cultural orientation
You will receive important information about Tanzania, local culture, daily life, safety, the program schedule, and your stay at TVL House.
After lunch, we will head into Moshi for a guided town tour and shopping excursion.
This is a great opportunity to become familiar with Moshi, visit local markets and shops, and purchase anything you may need for the rest of your adventure.

- Introduction to Tanzania and local culture
- Guided Moshi town tour
- Local market visit
- Shopping
- Assistance with local SIM card registration if required

DAY 2 – Tuesday, 2nd February | Materuni Waterfalls & Coffee Tour
Materuni Waterfalls & Traditional Coffee Tour
Today we travel to Materuni Village, located on the slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro.
Enjoy a guided walk through the beautiful surroundings to Materuni Waterfalls, followed by a traditional Chagga coffee experience.
During the coffee tour, you will learn about traditional coffee production and experience the process of preparing coffee in a local village environment.

After returning to TVL House, you will receive all important information and preparations for the safari next day.
DAY 3 – Wednesday, 3rd February | Day 1 of Serengeti & Ngorongoro Safari 4 Days / 3 Nights

DAY 6 – Saturday, 6th February | Serengeti - Maasai Boma – Ngorongoro Crater and Back to Moshi
After a morning game en route from Serengeti, we continue towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
Along the way, we will visit a Maasai boma, allowing you to learn more about Maasai traditions and culture.
We then continue to the Ngorongoro Crater, enjoying a crater tour and wildlife viewing before continuing our journey back to Moshi.
End of Safari
Arrival in Moshi will be later in the day/evening.

DAY 7 – Sunday, 7th August | Free Morning & Paint and Wine Activity
Enjoy a relaxed morning at TVL House after the safari.
After lunch, we will have a creative and social Paint & Wine activity at TVL House.
The activity provides an opportunity to relax and create your own piece of African artwork.
Included:

DAY 8 – Monday, 8th Februarry | Visit day at Msamaria Centre for street children, African Dance & BBQ Dinner
Today is focused on community, culture and local experiences.
After breakfast, we will visit Msamaria Center for street children, where participants can learn more about the organization’s work and the local community.
After lunch, enjoy a lively African dance performance and cultural experience. Get a chance to practice African Dance
The day will finish with a BBQ dinner at TVL House Garden.

DAY 9 – Tuesday, 9th February | Moshi – Zanzibar
Early morning departure from Moshi to Zanzibar
Upon arrival in Zanzibar, enjoy breakfast before continuing with a Stone Town tour and shopping experience.
Explore the historic streets, local markets and shops before continuing to your beach hotel.
After the tour, transfer to your beach accommodation, enjoy lunch and check in.

DAY 12 – Friday, 12th February | Final Zanzibar Beach Day
Enjoy your final full day in Zanzibar.

DAY 13 – Saturday, 13th February | Departure from Zanzibar
Your Tanzania group adventure ends today.
